2020 ist fast vorbei – was ein Jahr!
Wie ihr alle auch gab es für 2020 viele Pläne.
Eigentlich fing alles ziemlich gut an. Im Januar hatte Zweihorn Booking&Records sein 5-jähriges Jubiläum und wir haben dazu passende Shirts produzieren lassen.
Ende Februar kam mit “Gehasst – Verdammt – Vergessen” von PRSLM unser erstes Release 2020 und gleichzeitig auch das letzte PRSLM Release. Dafür hatten wir uns mit dem Fanschal ein schönes Bundle überlegt. Dazu sollte es noch einige letzte Konzerte geben, die sich dann erledigt haben.
Das erste mal wurde die Situation deutlich, als die Tour von GrGr und Soft Riot losgehen sollte. Erster Tourstopp in der Oetinger Villa in Darmstadt am 13. März. Mittwoch, Donnerstag, Freitag wurde viel telefoniert und geschrieben – es bestand große Unsicherheit, wie man mit der neuen Situation rund um das Corona-Virus umgehen sollte. Nach Rücksprache im Haus und mit dem Gesundheitsamt kam dann am Freitagmorgen die Nachricht: Ihr könnt euch auf den Weg machen. Die Show kann stattfinden, ggf. mit weniger Gästen und Lüften. Kurze Zeit später auf der Autobahn dann der ernüchternde Anruf: Kommando zurück. Es ist uns doch zu unsicher!
Im Laufe des Tages wurden dann auch alle anderen Shows der Tour gecancellt.
GrGr musste dann im weiteren Verlauf in Quarantäne und nutzte die Zeit um musikalisch rumzuexperimentieren. Das Ergebnis haben wir dann als “Quarantäne EP” im Mai released – ungefähr ein Jahr nach dem Release von “So Viel Zeit“.
Auch Alle werden fallen waren aktiv. Schon 2019, kurz nach dem Release von “Der rote Faden ergibt sich aus dem allgemeinen Abfuck” wurde klar, dass 2020 ein neues Release kommen wird. Im Oktober kam dann mit “Komfort ist keine Freiheit” die EP. Um euch das beste Musikerlebnis bieten zu können haben wir uns dazu entschieden, die EP bei Daniel in den Young&Cold- Studios mastern zu lassen – es hat sich definitiv gelohnt!
Dazu drei Videos zu den Songs “Müde Augen“, “Taxi” und “Ein Tag“.
Dazu kam das einzige Live-Konzert während der Corona-Pandemie. In der Alten Münze in Berlin fand das EINS ZU EINS Festival statt. Mit drei mehrseitigen Hygienekonzepten gab es eine schöne Show mit sitzendem Publikum – Danke dafür an alle Beteiligten.
Zum Abschluss gab es von GrGr noch den passenden Song zum aktuellen Lockdown: “Abstand“. Passt gerade zur Pandemie, im Supermarkt oder irgendwann auch wieder im Club!
Irgendwie ein Mistjahr 2020, aber trotzdem hatten wir einige sehr schöne, auch ungeplante, Releases. Die Konzerte dazu holen wir hoffentlich im kommenden Jahr nach!
Vielen Dank an dieser Stelle an alle genannten Bands, aber auch an die vielen anderen Menschen und Bands, die uns dieses Jahr begleitet haben.
Und natürlich vielen Dank an alle, die dieses Jahr Merch und Tonträger gekauft haben!
Hoffen wir auf ein besseres 2021. Wir planen auf jeden Fall schon einiges. In diesem Sinne – Game Over 2020.
2020 is almost over – what a year!
Like all of you, we had many plans for 2020.
Actually everything started quite good. In january Zweihorn Booking& Records had their 5 year anniversary and we produced shirts for that.
End of february “Gehasst – Verdammt – Vergessen” by PRSLM was our first release, while it was the last PRSLM release. We have thought of a nice bundle with the fanscarf. In addition there should have been some last concerts, which where cancelled.
The first time, we realised the Corona-Situation was at the beginnig of the GrGr and Soft Riot tour. First Tourstop in the Oetinger Villa in Darmstadt on March 13th. Many phone calls on wednesday, thursday and friday – there was a huge insecurity, how to handle the new Corona-situation. On friday morning, after talks in the house an with the public health department, we got the great news: you can hit the road. The show will take place, probably with less guests and ventilation. Short time later on the motorway we got a call: the show is cancelled. It’s too insecur for us.
On this day all the other shows of the tour have been cancelled too.
Some time later GrGr had to qo in quarantine and used the time for musical experiments. The resulat has been releasd as “Quarantäne EP” in may – about one year after the release of “So Viel Zeit“.
Alle werden fallen were also active. 2019, shortly after the release of “Der rote Faden ergibt sich aus dem allgemeinen Abfuck” it got clear that there will be a new release in 2020. In october the EP “Komfort ist keine Freiheit” has been released. For giving you the best quality, we decided to let the EP master by Daniel at the Young & Cold Studios – it really paid off!
In addition we released three videos to the songs “Müde Augen“, “Taxi” and “Ein Tag“.
Plus the only live-concert during the coronavirus pandemic. In the Alten Münze in Berlin took the EINS ZU EINS Festival place. With three mulit-page hygiene concept there was a nice show with sitting guestes – Thanks to all persons involved.
Finally there was the perfect lockdown song by GrGr: “Abstand“. Fits to the pandemic, the supermarket and when allowed also in the clubs.
Somehow a bad year 2020, but nevertheless we had some nice an sometimes unplanned releases. Hopefully we can fetch the concerts later in 2021!
